Meet Lauren.

The Herpich family takes a selfie while visiting Mount Vernon during Spring Break.

With our rolling hills, idyllic reservoir and regional trails, Lafayette is the dream that Lauren grew up wanting to make a reality.

Lauren’s childhood experience in northern New Jersey gave her an appreciation for education, hard work and community. She enjoys bringing people together. It’s no surprise that Lauren has been a vocal advocate for public spaces. In addition to her time serving on the Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission, she has worked with many citizen groups on issues such as housing and transportation and is often found at Lafayette’s community events. Lauren is also a small business owner with a background in working with limited budgets. She knows that every penny counts and thinks creatively to get the best bang for the buck.

Committed to this town that she envisions as her forever home, Lauren and her family see this as the time to bring her life experience and diverse perspective to Lafayette’s city council.
